I reached out to Genesa Home Care & Companion agency in Bucks County to seek help for my Mom who was battling cancer. She was 69 years old and watching her suffer for the last few months was very hard for me and my father. My father who is 74 years old suffers from dementia which has made caring for both of them very difficult for me. They also live about an hour away from me. A friend of mine recommended Genesa Home Care & Companion agency of Bucks County. She had used them to help her with her Aunt who needed care after she had a stroke. So I took the chance and reached out. I had no idea what to expect. To my surprise I was able to get an in home assessment at my parents' house the very next day. They took their time and asked a lot of questions. They seemed very genuine in wanting to get to know both my mother and father's likes, dislikes, what their interests were, and what kind of care they needed. We started services later that week. They sent a wonderful caregiver who had experience with dementia and she was really a great match for us. We started out 3 days a week to try it out. We had no idea what to expect but to our surprise so much weight was lifted off our shoulders in that 1st week that we started care moving forward every single day. The caregiver would made sure that they were up and ready for the day, if they needed help with preparing meals, and anything else that they needed for daily activities. I saw such a difference in both of my parent's personalities over the months. They did seem happier and I was very grateful myself. On Saturdays I would go visit and there is a Client notebook that the caregiver keeps at the house. She fills it out on a daily basis. It keeps track of what was done each day and even what my parents ate through out the day. If they had a doctor's appointment it was noted. She would also write me little notes letting me know how each day was. It was really nice to have that constant communication available. If anyone is looking for help with a loved one I highly recommend this company. They go above and beyond. Every so often I would receive a call from the owner of the company and sometimes the operation manager who checks in and simply asks how I am and how my parents are. They truly care about providing the highest level of service for their clients.

Omg I don't even know where to start I've been working for Genesa Home Healthcare & Companion Agency for 2 years now the company is phenomenal they really help and work with your schedule. Its an easy balance of life and work. They make sure you are well taken care of and have the supplies you need to do your job safely.

From the moment the first aide sent by Genesa Home Healthcare & Companion Agency began to take care of my husband, I was delighted. It was clear that she enjoyed caring for people; she treated him as if he were a dear grandpa. He required a tremendous amount of hands-on care, and she was equal to the challenge. Obviously, she had been well-trained. She talked with him, joked with him, made his mealtimes as pleasant as possible, even with his swallowing difficulty. Other aides came and went, due to shift changes, emergency leaves, etc., but the consistently high caliber of the girls (and guys) sent by Genesa Home Healthcare & Companion Agency was remarkable. They not only took care of my husband; they were also a great help and comfort to me. Five stars, I'd give them ten if I could.
